Works In Progress

I am working with Dr. Urmitapa Dutta, from the UMass Lowell Psychology Department, to study the process and impact of a community-based action research project we conducted in collaboration with Lowell Community Health Center’s Teen Block and YWCA Lowell. This project involves guiding local high school students as they create and present digital stories that highlight urgent issues affecting their communities in Lowell. This project positions youth as knowledge-generators and social change agents who are using digital stories to foster critical consciousness and call for specific action.
